We coordinate with your facilities team to identify the right space in your waiting or family area and handle the complete installation of our smart locker units — at no cost to the hospital. No contracts with fine print. No hidden fees.
Family members scan a QR code or send a text to reserve a unit. They receive a secure, time-limited PIN and pay a small nightly fee — then access a clean, rolled portable memory foam mattress sized to fit a standard hospital couch, any time of day or night.
Restocking, sanitation, and maintenance are managed entirely by Dad Pad on our own schedule. You receive a valued amenity for your patient families, and we quietly take care of everything behind the scenes.
Our Story
Dad Pad started the way most real ideas do — by living the problem. When my wife was admitted to the hospital for labor and delivery, I suddenly became one of those family members: awake at 3 a.m., exhausted, grateful beyond words to be there, and with absolutely nowhere to rest.
I watched other families in the same position — spouses on overnight vigils, parents waiting through long surgeries, siblings camped out in hallways. Every single one of them making the best of an uncomfortable situation that didn't have to be uncomfortable.
The solution was simple: a portable memory foam mattress sized to fit a hospital couch, stored in a smart locker, available on demand. No complexity. No burden on the hospital. No friction for the family. Just real rest, on a real mattress.
